How to become a member

Are you a student travel organisation interested in joining the IASIS global community of Insurance Partners, industry leaders and issuing agents?

Membership of IASIS demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to offering high quality, trusted travel insurance.
Applicants can choose from 2 types of IASIS membership:

  • Issuing Agents – issue IASIS endorsed policies and receive IASIS benefits and services. This type of membership is completely free of charge.

To discuss becoming an IASIS issuer and member, contact the IASIS head office in Amsterdam by telephoning James Clarke on +31 20 421 2800 or email mailbox@iasis-insure.org

  • Full members - have full voting rights and can help shape the strategic future of the IASIS Association at Annual General Meetings. Full IASIS members must also become members of WYSE TRAVEL CONFEDERATION and annual fees (see below) apply.

The five membership categories WYSE Travel Confederation are as follows:

Full Member - Category 1 is for organisations with the lowest relative levels of activity in the youth travel, student travel and international education community. Typically, only brand new organisations or those with one or two employees can be classified as Category 1 full members.

Full Member - Category 2 is appropriate for almost any organisation specialising in youth travel, student travel and/or international education, except those with extremely low or high levels of activity in the industry.

Full Member - Category 3 is reserved for organisations with the highest relative levels of activity in the youth travel, student travel and international education community.

Affiliate Membership is for Official Tourism Organisations (OTOs) and Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs).

Associate Membership is for commercial organisations that are not specialists in the field of international education, youth travel or student travel, but which are active in providing ancillary student and youth travel and/or international education products or services.
